First obtain a glass container that holds over a litre of liquid.
Pour in 200 mls of water and mark level with a marker pen.
top up with a fresh sample of the fuel you use, or want to test.
seal top and shake to mix contents.
leave to settle.
As the alcohol attracts water it will combine in the bottom of the container and once settled a level can be seen.
If no Ethanol is present then the line will be up to your mark
Twice as high as your mark will equal 10% mix and so on. (Liberty Green Fuel)
Be careful not to leave any samples lying about.
BTW the fuel above the settled line is good for the lawn mower, just add some oil.
